Federal Supply Schedule – Price list Deltao, Inc. provides high-level network engineering services (SIN 131-51, FPDS Code D307), and concentrates primarily on complex network designs, assessments, core network implementations, and quick network resolutions to augment an operations staff. The designs and resolutions mend network issues in three main areas: security, routing optimization, and VoIP. Some of the specific security issues include IPSEC with GRE tunnels, VPN for backup routing, VPN for remote access, and PIX firewalls. Some of the routing designs include tunnel fragmentation issues, asymmetric routing, firewall VIP issues, NAT w/ IPSEC issues, BGP multi-homing, fault-tolerance, EIGRP SIA’s, OSPF summarization, and Layer 2 spanning-tree issues. Deltao, Inc. will involve high-level engineers to apply private industry best practices for DoD, Intelligence, and other government sectors. |

LABOR
CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS:
We challenge you to compare the high standards for each of the labor categories
to the rest of the networking industry. You will find that the experience,
combined with the pricing, is probably the most competitive in the industry.
There are not many CCIE's (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) with ten years
of experience available to the government, or to the world for that matter.
It is still the most highly regarded and difficult engineering certification
in the networking industry. You will notice that the Sr. Project Manager labor
category requires a CCIE level engineer with ten years of experience. We challenge
you to find that stipulation in any labor category world wide, government
or commercial!
SR. PROJECT
MANAGER
Qualifications: Ten years of technical networking or related experience with
three years of experience in large-scale network design and/or development.
Proven ability to manage projects similar in size and scope to the project
requirement. Requires competence in human resource management, problem solving,
and quality assurance techniques. This service level also requires excellent
verbal and written communication skills.
Functional Responsibility: Responsible for coordinating, defining, staffing,
and managing one or multiple projects. The Project Manager works across the
various managers as well as the network engineers to ensure the delivery of
high-quality network design, documentation, and operational support as required.
Serves as primary technical point of contact with the Program Manager and
various network engineers on the project. Develops project plans, coordinates
status meetings, and manages engineer resources. Oversees delivery quality
and reports on costs and performance.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a technically-oriented degree.
SR. NETWORK
ENGINEER
Qualifications: Eight years experience in the communications/networking field,
with strong emphasis on network design as well as hands-on network equipment
experience (routers, switches, etc.). Specific technical experience in modern
network displines such as VPN’s, firewall security, disaster recovery,
data-center multi-homing, VoIP, etc. Experience in both voice and data communications
from the public sector (nonprofit, government, and DoD) as well as private
enterprise (finance, legal, healthcare, etc).
Functional Responsibility: Designs, develops, and/or optimizes the network
topology. Creates assessments and recommendations based on an initial network
discovery as well as on-going interaction of onsite engineers and operations
staff. Assessments are typically based off of industry best practices, but
are highly tuned to the specific network environment. Due to modern day network
fundamentals, security and content and always wrapped into even the most general
of network assessments.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other technical
degree (Math, Physics, EE, etc.). Also, an advanced industry-recognized networking
certification is required (CCNP, CCIE).
NETWORK
ENGINEER III
Qualifications: Five years experience in the communications/networking field
with strong emphasis on networking equipment (routers, switches, etc.). Minor
network design experience in various routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP,
and RIP.
Functional Responsibility: Assists Sr. Network Engineer in designing, developing,
and/or optimizing the network. Also assists the Sr. Network Engineer in performing
network assessments and recommendations. Installs, configures, and maintains
the operation of the customer’s network equipment. Recommends and implements
network policies and standards, and ensures adherence to local security procedures.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other technical
degree (Math, Physics, EE, etc.). Also, an industry-recognized networking
